Q. WHAT ARE THE DATES OF PARTY WEEK?
A. Party Week kicks off on Monday 30 November and finishes on Friday 4 December; however Registration for the event will take place on Sunday 29 November.
Q. WHAT IS REGISTRATION?
A. Only people who have Party Week wristbands can attend and gain entry to the Party Week parties. You will need to come to Registration on the Sunday to be given your wristband (which must be worn for the whole week). Location and hours of Registration will be advised later in the year.
Q. WHEN CAN I GET MY PARTY PACK?
A. Your Party Pack will be ready to pick up on Sunday Registration.
Q. WHAT DO I DO IF I CANNOT MAKE IT TO SUNDAY REGISTRATION?
A. If you’re not able to make it to registration, you must bring the voucher that you were emailed (you can also print this voucher by logging into your booking online) along to any one of the parties. Our staff will have wristbands & Party Packs on the door for any late comers.
Q. WHEN WILL THE PARTY WEEK THEMES BE ANNOUNCED?
A. Themes will be announced on Friday 27 March.
Q. ARE COSTUMES REALLY COMPULSORY?
A. To gain entry into any of the Party Week parties you must have at least one item of clothing that reflects the theme of the night. C’mon, it’s a party!!!
Q. HOW WILL THE SECURITY GUARDS BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY WHO TO LET IN TO THE PARTIES?
A. The venues have been hired exclusively for people who have purchased a party week ticket. On registration day, you will be issued with a wrist band that you must wear to all 5 parties. If your wristband breaks, you must bring the broken band in and you will be issued with a new one.
Q. DO YOU POST MY PARTY WEEK TICKET OUT TO ME?
A. There is no ‘ticket’ as such. Once you have paid for party week, you will be emailed a voucher/receipt which you will need to bring to Registration. If you don’t have an email address, you can also print your voucher from our website. You will be issued with your own booking number & password so you can access your booking at any time.
Q. CAN I BUY A TICKET FOR JUST 1 OR ‘SOME’ OF THE PARTIES?
A. If you can’t attend all 5 parties and would like to purchase a ticket on the door, this may be possible depending on the venue size and how many tickets are still available. However we advise that you purchase/book your ticket prior to the event to avoid missing out.
Q. DO I HAVE TO BE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE?
A. As the parties are held in licensed venues, you must be over 18 to participate in Party Week. Government approved photo ID is required on registration and to enter the clubs so make sure you have this with you every night. Your wristband alone is not sufficient. Do not purchase tickets if you will not be 18 years or over by 1 December.
Q. I DO NOT HAVE ACCOMMODATION BOOKED THROUGH SCHOOLIES.COM BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND PARTY WEEK. HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
A. To purchase tickets only for Party Week (with no accommodation) you will need to call us on 07 5665 4444. Payment in full is required at the time of booking and will only be accepted by credit card.
Q. HOW DO I PAY?
A. You can pay by credit card, BPay or send a cheque or money order made payable to Schoolies.com at Po Box 7143, GCMC, Qld 9726. Our BPay biller code is – 494500. You can ring and pay by credit card on (07) 5665 4444 or log into your booking online and pay via the internet.
Q. WHAT IS THE LATEST DATE I CAN CANCEL MY PARTY WEEK TICKET AND REMOVE IT FROM MY BOOKING?
You can remove your Party Week ticket from your booking at any time up until 14 October 2009. After this date you will be required to pay in full for this event, regardless of if you attend or not.
