I'm the organiser what do I do?
As the organiser you have control over the entire booking. As you have made the booking, you've agreed to advise your room mates of the terms and conditions and house rules.
If you need to change a name on the booking or any personal details such as an email address, you can do this online free of charge. We expect that you have discussed any changes with your group as Schoolies.com is not responsible for any discrepancies between your room mates.
I already have a booking and want to move to another Building. Can I do this?
Yes.
You can transfer your deposit and additional payments from your existing Schoolies.com booking to another one.

If you would like to move into another room with a friend who already has an existing booking with Schoolies.com.
You will need to send in an email to info2009@schoolies.com letting us know your current booking number and the Room ID of where you would like to be transferred to.
*Do not go ahead and make a new booking online and pay deposits to hold it. We are unable to refund any deposits made on multiple bookings.
Is there a cost?
There will be a $50 amendment fee per person to transfer accommodation. This will be added to your final balance.
Someone is cancelling from my booking, do I have to pay more for my accommodation?
If someone cancels from your booking, there may be an increase to the room rate. Please call Schoolies.com so we can advise you of the new room rate.
Is there a minimum number of people I need to have in my room?
Yes
You must have the minimum amount of people in your room for the booking to be confirmed. If people cancel from your room you may fall under the minimum amount and your booking may not be held. To see what the minimum number of people is for your room type please view the
- Schoolies.com homepage.
- Visit the building list.
- Click on the building name you are staying.
- View the Min / Max Pax under the room type.
Can I have extra people stay in my room?
Due to fire and safety regulations you will only be able to have the maximum amount of people in each room type as stated on the Schoolies.com website.
How do I cancel someone from the booking?
Only the person that wishes to cancel can email us their cancellation request. Please advise us in writing to info2009@schoolies.com. Don’t forget to advise your Room ID and booking number.
What is travel insurance?
Travel Insurance is not just about being insured for travelling to and from your destination. When you travel, unexpected things can happen to ruin your holiday, from having to cancel at the last minute to losing your mobile phone. If I cancel do I get my deposit back?
The $110 deposit is non refundable. If you do cancel this will not be refunded as stated in our Terms and Conditions you've agreed to upon booking. It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions.
Can someone else use my deposit?
If you can find a replacement to take over your booking the organiser can change the names and the $110.00 deposit can be used as the new person’s deposit. If you cancel from the booking your $110.00 deposit can not be split amoungst the remaining people on your booking.
When is my final payment due?
Final Payment is due 60 days prior to travel. Please see your room invoice for your exact payment date. We highly recommend that you also read our terms and conditions for more information.
