Role Overview
As a member of the casual event staff team, you will assist with both packing duties and scanning tasks at event entrances or checkpoints. Your work is critical to ensuring guests’ smooth arrival, accurate access control, and timely set-up and pack-down of event materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing Duties: Pack event materials, merchandise, wristbands, tickets, supplies for distribution. Label and organise items, assist with loading/unloading, maintain storage.
- Scanning / Access Control: Scan tickets/wristbands, verify authenticity, manage entrance flow, assist with crowd control.
- General Event Support: Assist with set-up/pack-down, maintain clean areas, report damaged goods, follow health/safety/security protocols.
Person Specification / Skills & Experience
- Experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills; professional with guests and team.
- Physically able to stand, lift, and carry materials.
- Detail-oriented and accurate with scanning/packing.
- Flexible for evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
