We aim to create a fun and safe environment for school leavers on their Schoolies trip.

Schoolies week is a celebration of your child's achievement in finishing school, giving them the chance to create lasting memories in a fun, well-managed and supported environment. The safety and wellbeing of your child, and of those travelling with Schoolies.com, sit at the centre of how these experiences are planned and delivered. In some destinations, this includes access to a structured program of events for students staying in Schoolies.com accommodation. Please be aware, not all destinations have a program of events, please see the Schoolies party page for the most up-to-date information on parties, or contact our friendly team.

Schoolies marks an important milestone, it's the end of school and the beginning of what comes next for your child. It’s a time for school leavers to celebrate together, one last time with their graduating year, before everyone heads off in different directions. Each year, thousands of Year 12 students travel from across Australia to iconic Schoolies destinations to celebrate, unwind, and enjoy what is often their first real taste of independence. It’s a well-earned rite of passage and the ultimate celebration of your child graduating year 12.

Photo ID

Official Schoolies.com photo ID and lanyards for Schoolies.com customers. In some destinations, only Schoolies.com guests can access accommodation for safety purposes.*

The Queensland Government Safer Schoolies Initiative provides a range of free support services to help improve safety for school leavers visiting the Gold Coast during week 1 of Schoolies.

The message to stay safe and watch your mates is an important one that is reinforced throughout Schoolies week to ensure their experience is everything they had hoped for.

SUPPORT SERVICES

A variety of support services are on offer during Schoolies Week at key destinations. There is a highly visible presence of services such as police, security, emergency services, officials and volunteers. They offer general support, medical assistance, advice and information.

In the past, Surfers Paradise has also offered a Schoolies only zone to prevent the toolies from taking part in the celebrations.

LIVIN

LIVIN is our official partner in supporting mental health awareness. LIVIN's mission is based around their motto “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”. They are working hard day-in-day-out to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging people to speak up about life’s challenges and promoting connection and support. They have a huge range of valuable information and resources on their website, to help support you or someone you know who may be struggling with mental health. A particular initiative that is equal parts educational and entertaining is their Detective Duck series.
