Schoolies Fiji Crew Application 

Thanks for your interest in becoming one of our valued 2024 Schoolies Fiji Crew members! Before you start your application, please read through the below information to ensure you fully understand the roles available & responsibilities of our Fiji Crew.

THE FIJI CREW EXPERIENCE:

- The Schoolies Fiji Crew is a non-paid volunteer style role but includes return flights to Fiji, any transfers required whilst in Fiji, accommodation, Schoolies.com uniform, travel insurance & all meals. Staff discounts on food & beverages is also available outside of meal times.

- You will need to have a valid passport (this must have 6 months validity from date of return back to Australia).

- You will need to attain your CPR & First aid certificate, AND volunteer Working With Children Check (Free) prior to the trip.

- All destination crew must be 21+ at time of travel (November - December 2024).

- We favour applicants who are able to attend the entire 3 weeks of the trip (17th November- 8th December 2024).

- Schoolies Fiji Crew are required to attend a staff training day on the Gold Coast which will take place before Schoolies (Date TBC).

SCHOOLIES FIJI CREW ROLES:

Day Time Crew: Responsible for the operation, setting up and packing down of all day time activities and events. You will create energy and maintain a fun & positive vibe to enhance all Schoolies day time experiences and ensure large group involvement. You will also be the main support for all Schoolies during your shift.

Night Time Crew: Responsible for the operation, setting up and packing down of all night time activities and events. You will create energy and maintain a fun & positive vibe to enhance all Schoolies night time experiences and ensure large group involvement. You will ensure safety and security during the event with assistance from resort security. You will also be the main support for all Schoolies during your shift.

Medical Nurse: You will support any ill or injured Schoolie receiving medical assistance from Fijiian medical staff. You will not administer any medical care however you will be responsible for ensuring all Schoolies are comfortable and supported through their treatment, while recording detailed treatment logs. Experience is required for this role, a qualification is highly desireable.

Photographer/Videographer: Responsible for all content creation during Schoolies in Fiji. Experience is required for this role, photography & videograhy experience is highly desireable.

DJ Crew: These are our DJ's who are responsible for the entertainment during Schoolies in Fiji. Experience is required for this role, DJ & MC experience is highly desireable.

Airport Crew: Responsible for greeting travellers and parents at the airport. This role is only available on departure days and applicants for this role do not travel to Fiji.

SCHOOLIES FIJI CREW APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. The Schoolies Fiji Crew Application Process starts with this form.

2. Successful applicants will then be offered a 10 minute informal phone interview.

3. If you are chosen to progress to the next stage, you will be required to attend our Gold Coast office for a formal interview. If you are applying from outside of the Gold Coast/Brisbane area we can arrange a formal Zoom interview as an alternative.

4. Successful applicants will be contacted once decisions have been finalised after all interviews have taken place.
