Byron Bay was a beautiful place to have schoolies, and the town itself was well equipped to deal with the schoolies. There were plenty of food outlets and places to stock up on supplies, with most resorts within walking distance. The beach party was great fun too.

Byron Bay is known for its laid back bohemian atmosphere and it really has something to cater for all budgets. Jonson St is the heart of Byron and is filled with restaurants, shopping, bars, nightlife and live entertainment.

For activities, you can go hangliding, take a surfing lesson, dive and take the opportunity to see turtles and grey nurse sharks, kayak with dolphins, skydive; or you can just spend your day lazing on the white sandy beaches of Byron and take a refreshing dip in the ocean.
